Membership Information Page
Membership is open to all. We're quite confident that you will find Toastmasters to be the most effective, most economical communication and leadership training that exists today.

Toastmasters International is a non profit organziation, and we are able to keep our fees extremely low. We challenge you to compare Toastmasters with the cost of 1-day training courses in public speaking; we are confident that you will find Toastmasters to be the best value by a wide margin. Additionally, Toastmasters is more effective since we focus on practice, practice, practice. You can't learn to be a world class marathon runner from attending a seminar. Similarly, public speaking is something that requires training, practice and effective coaching.

Here is a breakdown of fees:
  • New member fee: $20
  • Semi-annual Int'l dues: $27
  • Semi-annual Club dues: $6
So basically, the first six months will cost $53, and after that, each subsequent six month period will cost only $33. The new member fee is a one time expense and includes the Competent Communicator and Competent Leader manuals. Those who complete the Competent Communicator Manual's ten speech projects will receive their choice of two Toastmasters Advanced Communication manuals absolutely free.
